Modesto’s Mayor Sue Zwehlen gave a history of several important women ( Heide Warner and Peggy Menninger) of Modesto history. Lise Talbott and Elena Welch were honored for their contributions in the community.

Educational Funds Luncheon, February 24, 2024; a joint event of Modesto/ Turlock AAUW and Oakdale- Riverbank- Escalon AAUW. Our AAUW Educational Fund Fellow, Hope Haupton, and speaker will receive her PhD at UC, Merced with graduation in May 2024.
