PROGRAMS AND EVENTS, 2025

 

TECH TREK 2025 

Nominations of students from teachers and a counselor at Branch area schools have begun. Parents are notified. Interested parents and students complete nomination information online. A group of Branch members will interview those completing their applications on Zoom. Girls selected will attend camp at CSU, Fresno in June 2025. Fees for attendance at camp are paid from funds donated and monies raised at our Fall Fundraiser. Parents of girls selected are asked to pay $50.

WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH EVENT, March 15, 11:30 AM at the Turlock Library Community Room.

Featuring the women Mayors of  Modesto, Oakdale, Riverbank and Turlock.

Branch members and members of the community are encouraged to attend.

HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS 

High School have been contacted. In the future applications will be reviewed by a committee of Branch members. Graduating Females selected at Ceres High School, Modesto’s Enoch High School, Modesto High School, Turlock’’s Pitman High School, Turlock High School will be honored at a luncheon in May 2025. Each girl selected receives a $1,000 scholarship; funded by donations and monies raised at our Fall Scholarship Wine Social Fundraiser.

TECH TREK ALUMNI GROUP

Met for first meeting in January 2025 on Zoom; members met again in February with a March meeting on the calendar. The Board approved formation of this group. Group members were encouraged to sign up to volunteer at CSU, Stanislaus Science Day March 15. Two future events are in the planning stages by TECH TREK ALUMNI group members from 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 camps.
